A tree grows in…

March 3, 2011

… OK it’s not a tree and this is not Brooklyn.

But a sunflower grows on my window sill.

We planted seeds in our inter-faith religious school to celebrate Tu B’ Shvat.

In the cold, gray dankness that is this season in central Indiana, seeing this little green sproutlet somehow helps me breathe.

I love this post. Love, love, love it.

Also it reminda me of a quote I cut out of a Pottery Barn catalog last week. It was on a picture. “Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come.”

It’s important all year long, yes. But much easier to do in the summer.

I love that first picture. I couldn’t stop looking at it. You have such a great eye. 🙂
